Membership 

Membership is open to anyone who is concerned with human resource issues. Whether your title is owner or secretary or human resource manager, the benefits are plentiful as a member of a SHRM affiliated chapter.

Membership Fees

1 Year FAHRA Membership (January to December)

    •         1 Individual (SHRM Member)  - $40.00
    •         1 Individual (non-SHRM Member) - $50.00
    •         1 Individual (Student Member) - $25.00

Join / Renew Membership

The Findlay Area Association SHRM Chapter (FAHRA) uses an online system called MightEvent for all membership renewals and new membership applications.  The system is easy-to-use and accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.  Please use the promo code FAHRACHECKS if you wish to pay by check.

Instructions for using the online FAHRA Membership system.

1.  For existing FAHRA Members wishing to renew:

  • Follow this LINK to access FAHRA’s e-commerce page.
  • Enter your username (your email address) The system will acknowledge you by first name when logged into the MightEvent System. You should see a welcome message on the top left corner of the screen.
  • Use the “Forgot password” option if necessary.
  • Once in the system, click on MEMBERSHIP tab and follow the steps to complete your purchase.         

2.  For NEW/PROSPECTIVE FAHRA Members wishing to join the chapter BUT HAVE AN ACCOUNT in FAHRA’s ecommerce system: 

(You may have an account in the system if you have been a guest at a luncheon.)

  • Follow this LINK to access FAHRA’s e-commerce page
  • Enter your username (your email address) The system will acknowledge you by first name when logged into the MightEvent System. You should see a welcome message on the top left corner of the screen.
  • Use the “Forgot password” option if necessary.
  • Once in the system – click on the MEMBERSHIP tab and select the appropriate membership option.
  • Complete the application fields and submit.
  • Finish the payment process and the application process is finished.
  • At this point – the FAHRA Membership team takes over the review and approval process.

3.  For NEW/PROSPECTIVE FAHRA Members wishing to join the chapter and are brand new to the ecommerce system:

  • Use this LINK to take you to the membership options available as a member of the FAHRA Chapter.
  • The system will ask you for some quick demographic information related to billing.
  • Based on the type of membership selected, the system will then offer you a specific online application. Complete the application and submit.
  • Finish the payment process and the application process is finished.
  • At this point – the FAHRA Membership team takes over the review and approval process.
